Love cooking? Have we met?

Hi! I’m Olivia! I cook professionally both on photo shoots as a food stylist & as a recipe developer for brands and magazines. But at the core I’m a really really passionate home cook. I want to inspire people to cook more at home - it’s my dogma for optimal health and happiness. Having a little baby, a hungry husband, and a constant desire to eat well, I cook every single day. Daily I’m texting with friends or messaging with followers on instagram about this very subject - How to cook more at home! I decided it was time to start writing a newsletter so I could not only get these recipes into your inboxes but also be able to communicate is that conversation way I talk to my friends about “What to cook?”.

Maybe you’re cooking for yourself, for your partner or for a whole crew! What you’ll find here is recipes that pass a few tests: Easy, Delicious, and Accessible. When writing recipes I’m very conscious of how many pans you’ll dirty. You won’t find obscure ingredients here, and if you do, we’ll talk about it and I’ll make sure you have more ways to incorporate it into your cooking than just 1 recipe.

I think you’ll also find that many of my recipes are very vegetable heavy. Health and wellness is very top of mind for me and it’s reflected in my recipes. Most of my recipes are conceived from me thinking about what vegetable I’d like to highlight that day- or sometimes even what color I’d like my food to be!

If you subscribe you’ll get new recipes to inspire your home cooking right to your inbox. These range from easy-feed a crowd- one pot pasta recipes to drool worthy salads that will become mainstays. You’ll also be receiving non-recipe cooking tips on how to incorporate things like miso or kabocha squash into your everyday cooking. And woven in between the food, I plan to share what my family is up to. Like our new-ish tradition of saying a very non -traditional grace and how much more awesome that’s made our dinners.
